Wednesday 09 June 2010
Thomas and his wife Ratchanu with son Nai (aged 7) spent two days with us in May. He has kindly sent some photos of some of the fish caught.
Two photos of Nai & Ratchanu with several Giant Siamese Carp that were caught
Thomas follows up with his own Carp and then a nice young Arapaima
Ratchanu & Thomas then finish the day with a Redtail apiece - not bad eh!

Tuesday 13 April
Nina from Denmark, spent some time with us last August 2009. She has just sent the photos of her catches below. She will be joining us again in June.
Thursday 08 April
Another fine Giant Mekong at 32kg for Alan - who is on a return visit to Hua Hin Fishing Lodge.
Tuesday 06 April
Happiness is a Pla Beuk (Giant Mekong Catfish) - I've heard it said. In this case a 31kg specimen for the lads' day out.
Sunday 04 April
A young man gets a young Alligator Gar. Looking a little nervous - rightly so if it were one of our bigger specimens - the teeth on these fellas need some respect!
Tuesday 30 March
Amongst the catch today - a good 29.4kg Pla Beuk (Giant Mekong Catfish)
Friday 26 March
More Arapaima and also a Clown Knifefish (Featherback)
Wednesday 24 March
During a recent visit by Ines and Christoph Ganahl several fish were landed. Including the fine Giant Siamese Carp below..........
Tuesday 16 March
Seems like these young Arapaima are getting a bit greedy.............
Sunday 07 March
It's been a little quiet at the Lodge over the last few weeks - although that is typical for this time of year. Our staff are recovering from the effects of the high season and our fish are recovering from spawning. The hot season approaches and the fish tend to go deep and keep cool.
Which is why it was a pleasant surprise when one of the younger Arapaima in the bottom pond got caught over the weekend.
This little fella was 22kg.

Sunday 24 January 2010
Not to be outdone - our resident star of the bottom pond 'Arry the Arapaima (now weighing around 50-60 Kg) - made his presence known again today. Caught by Allan from the U.K. - the smile on his face says it all!..........Allan that is - not 'Arry!
