Only 2 ½ hours South of Bangkok, 15 minutes West, from the centre of Royal Resort of Hua Hin, and only 5 minutes from the main Hua Hin Bypass, you will find a unique fishing experience for you and your family. A fishing retreat (We have three comfortable bungalows – with more planned), designed for those who want a change from beach holidays.

Unlike many of the fishing parks found in Thailand, with thousands of catfish, we pride ourselves on the variety and condition, of the fish to be found in our ponds. We currently have 40 different species, with more on the way. Our present stock includes 3 varieties that are on the 'Critically Endangered' Species list and one on the 'Endangered' Species list as defined by the World Wildlife Fund.

Our specimens are not all HUGE as marketed by other fishing locations in Thailand. However they are growing fast and we believe that you will not find such a variety of interesting species in any other quality location in Hua Hin. We can therefore offer interesting fishing for the experienced angler - plus the opportunity for those wishing to get the thrill of engaging some new species to their angling experience.

All photographs were taken at the Lodge, unless otherwise stated.

We welcome families with children - they can use our playground facilities - or they can try out our top pond with specimens ranging from grams to 20kg and up. Alternatively you might want to be more adventurous and tackle the lower pond with South American delights and local specimens reaching 80kg or more.

All this combined with the peaceful atmosphere gained when limiting only 18 anglers at a session. Just 10Km from the centre of Hua Hin, off the Pa La U road you will find the tranquility of the countryside, picturesque and shady surroundings, with some challenging fishing to share with family and friends.

From our restaurant you can enjoy good Thai & Western food - from Som Tam & Tom Yum to English Breakfasts and Fish or Burger & Chips. Plenty of Pork, Chicken, Venison, Ostrich and Seafood dishes can be had - check out our extensive menu - more than 50 dishes are available. The Menu can be viewed on the 'Facilities' page of this site.(COMING SOON - Freshly made pasta dishes) Wash your meal down with some cool beer (Chang, Heineken, Tiger, Singha, San Mig) or wine (all delivered to your swim if required) to celebrate your catch. Depending on variety caught, we may even cook it for you!

There's also plenty of soft drinks, crisps, snacks and ice cream for the kids.

We had a great day today! We have hooked all three Arapaimas', lost the first one, but in the next 20 minutes hooked into another two. So we were playing two at once. This was unbelievable! Some years ago, I brought my son for a great day with you - he is the one still on your website with the orange life jacket!! He is now 10 and we are coming back to Hua Hin soon in April. We would love to come back at least once and we will be staying at the Sofitel as before............Anyhow, I'm delighted that you are still up and running some 4 years on.....you were still very much developing the site when we came last and we are delighted that you still have Fred's picture on your website. "Just wanted to tell you we had a fantastic day at your place. Your staff were excellent and I not only enjoyed the fishing, but relaxing in the lovely tranquil surroundings. As I expected, my friend Tony booked as well. When one of the guides advised that a fish hooked was likely to be a large Arapaima I asked Tony to take it. I knew his desire for a large one and to claim bragging rights with another friend. I swear it had nothing to do with my aching arms from just landing a large Julians' Carp. The fish was estimated at around 35k, but it was not the biggest hooked that day. That turned out to be 80k. Just as your advertising suggests it was I that was hooked. I miss my fly fishing in the UK, but now I've found a place as a substitute. We plan to be back on the 17th and my stepson will come too. When I showed him the photos his eyes lit up. Once again thanks to everyone there, especially the excellent guides, congratulations on developing a fantastic place and Chock Dee. Regards Derek"

"Fantastic place, fantastic people, beginners or not" - Rachel 04 June 2011

A couple of days visit with our boys, 12 and 15, and what a wonderful experience. If you are looking for something to do whilst catching the rays, then this is the place. There is shade, food and drink, excellent fishing and help constantly at hand. If, like our eldest, you don't like putting bait on or handling the fish then it's not a problem, the staff will willingly do it for you. We caught Arapaima, Pacu and Giant Siamese Carp. Both lakes are just great to fish , so just go with whatever takes your fancy and you won't be disappointed. The staff are genuine, so take any advice that they give you. Thank You.

Me & my husband were staying at a house only 2km from Hua Hin Fishing Lodge. I love fishing, my husband just wants to watch and relax. So we went there 4 times including an evening session which was awesome. All 4 times I caught fish and a lot of different ones as well. We also went 2 or 3 times in August 2009 also wonderful trips. I just can't wait until we can afford another trip to Hua Hin, then there will be some serious fishing again. The staff are wonderful, nice restaurant with food and cold beverages, nice fishing, what more could you want.

My family and I are regular vacation visitors to Hua Hin. This year some friends invited our oldest son (14) to join them for an outing to to the fishing lodge, somewhere we had never been. My son had never fished before. It was a great introduction to the activity and the whole atmosphere at the lodge is incredibly mellow, tranquil and relaxing. What a wonderful way for anyone to pass a couple of hours on a balmy afternoon - relax in the shade of the huts, have a drink, eat nice food, talk to your mates and haul in a few fish. The Pad Thai was also very good. So for anyone who has not been I would encourage you to give it a try. They have all the kit and help is on hand.
